Day 4

I am not having trouble getting enough to eat but am getting sick of the same thing everyday.  I am also realizing how many events I attend a week that involve eating in some way.  I might need to make some changes there.  Today I ate my normal toast, peanut butter, and coffee for breakfast.  I ate a couple cookies for a snack.  For lunch I tried to add some spice to my chicken and had a lot of water to drink.  For dinner I ate grilled chicken, grean beans, potato, and ice coffee.  I will probably have an apple for a snack.  I am ok with this routine becasue I know that it is only going to be for a short time.  I would not like this to be a long term thing.  I also want to say that my children would not accept this even on a short time basis.

Day 3

Well, I'm falling into a routine.  Today I ate toast, peanutbutter, and coffee for breakfast.  For lunch I ate a chicken sandwich and ice coffee.  For dinner I ate chicken, potato, and grean beens.  I ate a couple cookies and 2 apples for snack throughout the day.  I am not feeling really hungry but do seem to be a little grumpy.  I can see where eating on this budget can be done but it's not very pleasant as the foods you can bye are limited.  I am a cancer surviver.  When I was shopping I noticed that many of the inexpensive foods are the ones that I was warned not to eat.  They are mostly simple carbs that support free radicals in your body.  It is these free radicals that can support the growth of cancer.  I fully believe that creating a food program that supports good health would save the money in a long run.  Think about all the medical issues that result from poor eating habits.

Day 2

Today was a better day for me.  Breakfast included toast, peanutbutter, and coffee.  I was able to go shopping on my lunch break.  I purchased Chicken, Peanut Butter, Coffee, Apples Grean Beans, Eggs, Potato, Cookies for 19 dollar.  I spent 2 dollars at McDonald's yesterday as I was not well prepared.  I ate a chicken sandwich and ice coffee for lunch around 2pm.  I am finding that I am not as interested in my meals as they're so few choices.  I have also realized that I eat out a lot.  I guess this is a habit I have gotten into.  Now that I am adopting, I will probably change that.  I have had to turn down two social gatherings as they were to take place over a meal and I don't have the funds to purchase a meal.  For dinner I had another chicken sandwich with water.  Later in the evening I ate a couple cookies for a snack.

Day 1

I have thought a lot about the food that I plan on eating this week.  I had a great plan in my mind an was ready to go shopping this morning when I received a phone call that resulted in me running around all day.  I had eaten toast, peanutbutter, and coffee for breakfast.  Around 2pm my stomach started to hurt and I started to feel nauseous.  I thought a lot about the 21 dollars I had for the week but had to eat something.  I ended up eating off the dollare menu at McDonalds.  I had a double burger and cookies.   I moved from one sickness to another.  I was excited to get home and have chicken breast, a baked potato, and green beans.  I will try and shop again tomorrow.  I am not used to planning meals.
